Thank you for your interest in the IERRT.

ABP’s application for a Development Consent Order (‘DCO’) for the IERRT project has now been accepted for Examination by the Planning Inspectorate, acting on behalf of the Secretary of State of Transport.

In February 2023, we submitted our application to the Planning Inspectorate for their consideration, and we now have confirmation that the application has been accepted as validated. The IERRT project is, therefore, now entering a new phase of the DCO application processes, known as the ‘Pre-Examination’ phase.

All the application documents are available to view and download free of charge online on the Planning Inspectorate dedicated website at: https://infrastructure.planninginspectorate.gov.uk/projects/yorkshire-and-the-humber/immingham-eastern-ro-ro-terminal.

We have prepared a Newsletter - which can be accessed here - which provides more information about the application process, next steps, how you can view the application documents on the Planning Inspectorate’s dedicated website and how you can order paper copies (subject to charge) or copies on a USB stick from us.

Updates on the Examination of the IERRT project will be posted on this website going forward.

We will continue to host copies of the consultation documents, from both rounds of statutory consultation on the IERRT undertaken in 2022, which you can access using the following link: https://www.abports.co.uk/immroro/consultation/2022-consultation-details.
