Collage of fundraising efforts by ABP colleagues for St Elizabeth Hospice since 2004

Associated British Ports (ABP), the UK’s leading port operator, is proud to celebrate the remarkable efforts of its colleagues from across it’s ports in East Anglia, from the port of Ipswich, Lowestoft and King’s Lynn, who have raised an outstanding £93,558 in support of St Elizabeth Hospice since 2004.

From bungee jumps on the waterfront and community art trails cycle rides and seasonal Easter egg donations, the team’s dedication to fundraising has been both creative and inspiring. Their unwavering commitment over the years has made a significant contribution to the hospice’s mission of delivering compassionate care to individuals living with progressive and life-limiting illnesses across Suffolk.

Paul Ager, Divisional Port Manager, ABP said: “This incredible achievement is a testament to the generosity, spirit and community focus of our team in Ipswich. We are immensely proud of their continued support for such a vital local charity.”

Liz Baldwin, Corporate and Sponsorship Fundraising Manager at St Elizabeth Hospice said: “We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support and commitment from ABP over more than two decades. Their contributions have helped us continue providing vital care and support to patients and families across Suffolk.”

“Every year it costs around £12 million to deliver all our care services and run the organisation. This means that every pound raised by ABP colleagues helps ensure that this essential work can continue.”

ABP extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who has taken part, donated, or supported the fundraising efforts over the years.
