UK Dredging

UK Dredging (UKD) operates the largest British-owned dredging fleet and specialises in the provision of reliable and cost effective port maintenance dredging services.

We’re excited to introduce our brand-new virtual port tour, designed to give you a clear view of where our key operations take place across the port. From the UK’s second-largest container terminal to the busiest automotive export terminal, and our five world-class cruise terminals, you can now explore it all from wherever you are.

With a sizeable and diverse property portfolio across our 21 port locations in England, Scotland and Wales, ABP is a leading commercial landowner and open storage provider in the UK. From the virtual port tour, you can see in Southampton we have a large port estate with opportunities to support existing and potential customers with open storage, warehouse and office space.  For more information, contact our local Property Team [email protected]

So, whether you're a resident, new to working at the port, a cruise passenger, an HGV driver, or one of our stakeholders visiting the port, the tour includes helpful information about the port. You’ll find guidance on routes, dock gate access, and how to reach the cruise terminals with ease.

We’ve also included our other key sites in the tour:

  • Solent Gateway Port – now part of our network and being actively developed to support MOD and Commercial operations, mainly automotive and project cargo.  It has been a busy month, and we’re already seeing great use of the new facilities at Solent Gateway Ltd (SGL).
  • Marchwood Industrial Estate and Eling Wharf – home to a range of logistics companies and waste services.

We have developed this site in line with feedback received at our Community Port Tour held in April this year. This tour is much more accessible to those who couldn’t attend the in-person tour during the Easter Holidays, and we hope it gives you a flavour of the scale and size of our operations and port.

We look forward to welcoming you—virtually and in person!
