ABP welcomes Mark Pearson to the role of General Manager for UK Dredging

 

ABP, the UK’s leading ports group, is delighted to welcome Mark Pearson to the role of General Manager for UK Dredging (UKD), which operates the largest British-owned dredging fleet and specialises in the provision of reliable and cost-effective port maintenance dredging services.

Mark brings valuable experience and knowledge that he has gained in leadership roles in both ship-management and ship repair to manage UK Dredging. These senior roles include: V-Ships, Maersk Line and OSG Ship Management. As well as being a former seagoing engineer, Mark holds an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University.

Mark is currently the Operations Director at Albwardy Damen, a shipyard based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which he will be leaving towards the end of January before returning to Wales.
