ABP APPOINTS PORT DIRECTOR FOR HULL & GOOLE
Matthew Kennerley, 38, has been promoted to the post of Port Director for Associated British Ports’ (ABP) Ports of Hull & Goole.At present the Assistant Port Manager for ABP’s Port of Southampton, Matthew’s appointment takes effect on 1 June 2005. He succeeds Doug Morrison, who has recently been appointed Port Director, ABP Southampton.
A native of Lancashire, Matthew joined ABP as a management trainee in 1989. Prior to ABP Southampton, he was the Deputy Port Manager for ABP’s South Wales Ports, and before that, he held the post of Marketing Manager for ABP Grimsby & Immingham.
A Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport and the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, Matthew Kennerley is married with three young children.
