DOUG MORRISON APPOINTED TO BOARD OF ASSOCIATED BRITISH PORTS HOLDINGS PLC
Associated British Ports Holdings PLC (‘ABPH’) today (Tuesday, 5 April) announces the appointment of Doug Morrison, the newly installed Port Director of the Port of Southampton, to the board of ABPH.
His appointment takes effect immediately after the Company’s 23rd annual general meeting, which is to be held on Tuesday, 26 April.
Doug Morrison, 53, held the post of Port Director for Associated British Ports’ (ABP) Ports of Hull & Goole for two years, before being promoted on 1 April to his new post at the Port of Southampton. Doug has worked for ABP since 1968.Prior to his move to Hull, he was Port Manager for ABP’s Ports of Ayr & Troon in Scotland.
Chris Clark, ABPH Chairman, welcomed Doug’s appointment to the board:
