Captain Phil Pannett, the present Deputy Pilotage Operations Manager, will become Pilotage Operations Manager.

Paul Hames, 57, joined ABP in 1994 as Pilotage Operations Manager after 16 years as a First‑Class Humber Pilot. In 1998, he became Harbour Master, Humber.

Joining ABP in 1993, he has served as Master within the dredging fleet before moving into the Dock Master's office where he was the Senior Assistant Dock Master at Hull. He was appointed Pilotage Operations Manager in 2001.

Phil Pannett, 44, is a Master Mariner whose career at sea started with Turnbull Scott & Company in 1976. His final sea-going position was as Master with Cobelfret Ferries.
