The UK’s leading ports group, Associated British Ports (ABP), has appointed Charles Meaby as the Company’s new Commercial Manager based in London.

Prior to this appointment, Mr Meaby was Business Development Manager at ABP’s Port of Southampton, where – over the last four years – much of his time has been dedicated to working on ABP’s Dibden Terminal project. Prior to joining ABP, Mr Meaby was employed by Hutchison Port Holdings, where he held various development and commercial roles, and worked at the Port of Felixstowe, Freeport Bahamas and in South Africa.

In his new role, Mr Meaby will work closely with ABP’s 21 UK ports in developing ABP’s customer base and servicing the Group’s existing customer relationships.

Charles Meaby, 34, studied at Oxford Brookes University and has a BEng (Hons) degree in mechanical engineering.
