AMPORTS is a leading automotive processor based in the USA. Its six terminals are based at four port locations – Baltimore, Maryland; Benicia, California; Brunswick, Georgia; and Jacksonville, Florida. In addition to port operations such as receiving, inspection, storage and export preparation, AMPORTS’ operations extend into high-level value-added services such as customisation, port modification and upfitting.
The Port of Baltimore is located in the mid-Atlantic region of the USA east coast. Baltimore’s inland location makes it the closest Atlantic port to major mid-western population and manufacturing centres, and only a day’s journey from one-third of USA households.
AMPORTS is a major presence at the Port of Baltimore, which is itself one of the busiest automobile ports in the country. AMPORTS operates three automobile terminals: Atlantic, Chesapeake and Dundalk Marine Terminals, with a total of 89 ha of lighted, paved and fenced land.
