Liquid bulks

Ipswich offers a bulk-liquid terminal, operated by Vopak, with capacity for 89,000 cu m of oil and chemical products split between three sites: Greenwich, with 33,500 cu m of Low Flash storage, handling mainly clean white oil products; Cliff, with 45,000 cu m of High Flash storage, handling white and black oils, liquid fertilisers, heated and unheated chemicals, molasses and lube oils; and Holywells, with 10,500 cu m of Low Flash storage, handling a wide range of heated and unheated chemicals and additives.

The terminal is fed from four berths, across each of which up to four products may be handled simultaneously at rates of up to 400 tonnes per hour. The terminal is able to offer storage in stainless steel-lined and carbon steel tanks. A full range of services is available such as blending, heating, drumming, administrative documentation and independently operated laboratory facilities.
