Steel and General Cargo

Goole�s wide variety of facilities means it can handle imports and exports of almost every kind of general cargo, such as chipboard, aluminium, stainless steel, paper and agribulks. The 6,000 sq m covered Steel Terminal, which is located at the Boothferry Terminal and operated by RMS Europe Ltd, allows ships to load and discharge in all-weather conditions.

Steel products are handled by TE Kettlewell & Son Ltd at West Dock South.

The Caldaire Terminal stores and handles a wide range of cargoes, including steel and general cargo. It has a 200 m long berth, plus a 1,900 sq m shed with an overhead crane. A further shed of 3,500 sq m was completed in 2001.

South Dock Terminals Ltd also handles steel at its terminal in South Dock.
